Escape the noisy city at this peaceful farmhouse in the country and yet still close to all that New Braunfels has to offer! This house is a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath that sleeps six. The covered front porch with an ADA ramp takes you into the foyer. There is an office/ art room that leads through to the fully equipped kitchen and dining area with all the comforts of home. The great room is huge with 2 story ceilings, large windows, fireplace and comfy seating with cable TV and free internet. There is a half bath just off the living room. The master bedroom is located downstairs with a king size bed, large closet and full bath with deep soaking tub and handicap accessible shower. Make your way upstairs to find 2 additional bedrooms with a Jack and Jill bath. The first bedroom has 2 twin size beds and the second bedroom has a full size bed. Bring an air mattress or tent for the little ones and this house can accommodate 8 guests Relax on the back porch with a glass of wine or your morning coffee and take in the beauty of songbirds and deer. The large back yard has plenty of space for your dog to enjoy. Quiet neighborhood great for families and romantic getaways, it is an artist's paradise! NO parties allowed.
The original owner of this family home is a founding member of the New Braunfels Art League. The springtime wildflowers and the German influenced architecture are frequent subjects of her paintings. Besides being a recipient of numerous awards, she is a Purple Sage signature member of the Texas watercolor Society and her painting adorn the walls of this farmhouse. We have a portfolio of her work in the house and her lovely paintings are for sale.
