Summary: The check-in process was easy and the property manager was very communicative. The dock was great, in a private, quiet cove with plenty of room to swim and enough space to dock a pontoon. The grass was not cut so it was difficult to play games in the yard. I mentioned this to the property manager but no one ever came to cut it while we were there. The house was not well-maintained. The doors didn’t close and latch properly (even some of the exterior doors had this issue). The bedding was not clean when we arrived, we had to wash the sheets before we could sleep in them. The floors were dirty - if you walked around barefoot your feet became dirty. There were roaches in one of the beds, as well. Ultimately, we rented this place for the lake access and a fun long weekend on the water. Once we shifted to a “we’re camping” mindset, we were able to manage. The house could be amazing if it were just cleaned and maintained regularly. It is older and not updated, but for the price on the lake with a dock, I didn’t mind that part. When I reached out to the property manager, they were as helpful as possible, promised to notify the owner, and even issued me a partial refund.
