Pool heating is available for an additional fee of $1,500/month to cover utility costs, and this must be paid in advance. Because it takes about two days to heat the pool to the desired 80 degrees Fahrenheit, please notify us at least 2–3 days before your arrival to request this service. Keep in mind that when nighttime air temperatures drop below 55∘F, the pool heater may struggle to reach the 80∘F range, and we cannot guarantee that temperature in such conditions. However, during the summer months of July, August, and September, the air is typically warm enough to keep the pool comfortable without paying for extra heat. The pool is professionally serviced every week, usually on Friday mornings, and it operates on an automated vacuum timer. For trash and recycling, bins are collected on Tuesdays, so please place them at the curb the night before. Finally, please respect the house rules: we unfortunately cannot allow pets on the property, and smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the home. Failure to follow these rules will result in a $500 extra cleaning fee. Schedules for services may occasionally vary, but we'll do our best to keep you informed of any changes.
