Summary: Before I continue with this review I want to make it very clear that I don't think the hotel in and of itself is to blame for what happened, but I do think that someone, potentially at this establishment, might be the culprit behind what the story that follows. I needed to come to Clovis for a medical procedure so I booked the hotel through hotels.com and my mother and I stayed one night here. The staff were pleasant, the room was clean, the beds comfy and the stay was all around very nice. We paid with a credit card at the desk However, just a few days later my mother got multiple alerts of fraud on her card where it was being used for OF purchases in multiple states within a single day. In short, her card number had been stolen and sold online. Again, I am not claiming that the Fairfield hotel is to blame for this issue. But what I can stay with certainty is the card in question was only card number stolen and was only out of my mother's hand in 2 separate locations, purchasing gasoline (which the station has been notified) and paying for the hotel at the front desk was one of them, hence my suspicions. Personally I would still stay here, as it is a good hotel. This is purely meant as a warning to stay vigilant when traveling.
