Guest enter through the original double doors into the Grand foyer with spectacular staircase. Rooms full of antiques help transport you back to earlier days. The Formal Living room with original fireplace and Mr. Winston's original desk welcome you. Two incredible bedrooms on the first floor, perfect for those who need easy access to the homes main living areas! This 6 bedroom 5.5 bath mansion gives you and your guests plenty of room to spread out. The massive dining room and kitchen offers space for all to dine together and plenty of room to prepare your meals, or have our private chef come in. The beautiful stone glass porch is the perfect family gathering space for games, time together and TV. With beautiful views of the mountains, this room is a guests favorite.
Winston Inn during the month of March is undergoing some amazing updates to all rooms. The kitchen is just about complete. You will see the photos. We are awaiting our island top, due to be installed March 31 and refinish the floors.
All bedrooms, except the cabin room, are being painted the original historic colors and beautiful plantation furniture will adorn the home. The stone room will be a large family room, cozy and comfy for everyone to visit, reconnect and watch their favorite games on the super large screen TV! Pictures to follow soon of family room.
As in all of our other Mentone Vacation Rental homes, we guarantee that the final results of this plantation home will more than exceed your expectations. We know you will love your stay here, especially the whistle of the train that passes right through the center of town. Also, exploring the beautiful 8 acre property, seeing the cows in the neighboring field, exploring the old barn and corn crib. Marveling at the majestic trees and the beautiful landscape.
