Relax, and take a breath of fresh air at this gated access, peaceful loft in the mid-Missouri countryside. Enjoy the outdoors with our propane griddle and firepit or venture to nearby trails, a favorite of Columbia's locals. Sit on the porch or enjoy our porch swing as you watch the activity in our pond - often visited by blue herons, duck and geese. You will be sure to see a few turtles if you venture closer! The stunning sunsets from the porch are photo worthy and you will often see passers by stop and take photos themselves!
If you would prefer to benefit from the solitude indoors, we have high speed, fiber internet; cushy recliners; a plasma screen, smart TV; games, books, and a luxurious kitchen available to provide every comfort. The views from every window are peaceful and offer wooded, lake and pond views.
We have a pond and a small lake stocked with fish for your enjoyment! (Please bring your own poles/tackle.) Only 2 miles down the road is Cooper's Landing, which has an RV park, boat launch, and live music, food trucks, and cold beverages. It is also the closest access point to the Katy Trail, popular with bicyclists. Rockbridge State Park has hundreds of miles of trails leading you alongside creeks and atop the bluffs and it is only 5 miles from our location. Eagle Bluffs can be accessed from the top of the bluff just 3 miles down the road, or you can climb up the bluff from the Katy Trail access at Providence Point (only 2 miles and also has a boat launch). The premier water fowl viewing and hunting area, another Eagle Bluffs section of the park, is about 5 miles from here. (Check hunting guides regarding access to hunt these grounds.) It is also home to a pair of eagles who nest there each year.
For those visiting friends or family at Mizzou, we are only 15 minutes from the stadium or campus. It is a straight shot down Providence south, which turns into Route K to our access road. Paved all the way to our location!
