Summary: We spent two nights at Brown Bear with two other families, totaling 12 people. The house is amazing and exceeded our expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice, we were blown away when we arrived. You can tell the owners take extremely good care of their vacation home. Communication with Jena was smooth before and during our stay, she is very responsive and accommodating. The spacious large open LR, DR, and kitchen was perfect for all of us to gather. And the 4 bedrooms provided plenty of space for 3 families. The large master bedroom with a king bed and en-suite on the 1st floor was super comfortable. The 2nd floor has three more large bedrooms, two with en-suites, and one with a queen bed, twin over full bunk bed, crib, and toys. It was great that each family had their own bathrooms as well as a powder room on the 1st floor. The house was well-equipped with extra pack & plays, cookware, nice appliances, spices, condiments, board games, hand soap in every bathroom & kitchen, dishwasher pods, sound machines in the bedrooms, garbage bags, and paper towels. Situated on a peaceful street, we were only 17 minutes away from Shawnee Mountain. We had a fantastic time and would love to stay here again. The house is beautiful and has a great cabin feel with all the modern amenities. The wood details were very nice, just be mindful to wear slippers to avoid getting splinters.
