Relax w/ the gang at this peaceful working ranch on 500 beautiful acres. This amazing property can host multiple families, corporate retreats, or small groups. There is much to explore and do on-site during your stay, including hiking to the bluffs/waterfall, fishing in the 2 creeks, kayaking, swimming, horse back riding (if guests would like to bring their own horses), visit the Civil War grave sites, roast s'more's around the fire, play pool, ping-pong, shuffle board, or just get some R&R!
This property offers an amazing opportunity to get away from it all and make memories with your favorite people! This is a working cattle ranch that our family uses often for gatherings and events. We love sharing it with others and know you will love it too. We will meet you on site when you arrive to show you around the property and go over the basics. We may or may not be around during your stay, but if we are there we will stay next door in a separate house and will not interfere with your group at all.
Please note the upstairs bedroom/bunk room set up. Each bunk room adjoins to the bathroom that is attached to one of the bedrooms (jack-n-jill style). Each bedroom is accessed through an exterior entrance, similar to a motel. There is a very small fold-down staircase inside that leads up to the bedrooms, but it is not suited for adults or luggage to be brought up through.
We have a side-by-side ATV that seats 6 available for rent ($100/day) and places to board horse ($25 per horse) if you'd like to bring them. Please reach out and let us know your plans.
Pets may be considered on a case-by-case basis. There will be an additional $100 fee for each dog. We do not allow dogs to roam all over the house or on the furniture. Dogs are ONLY allowed in the large game/bonus room and must be on a cable or kenneled at night. Please let us know about your pets at the time of booking and we will approve and request payment at that time. Failure to follow these rules will result in an additional $100 fee.
If you will enter Hargis Rd Dennard AR in your GPS, it will bring you to a row of mailboxes. Manual directions: (You will turn off of hwy 65 and travel 4 miles. Turn left onto Rocky Hill Rd until you come to the mailboxes). Turn right onto Hargis Rd and travel down a dirt road for 3 miles. At the bottom of the mountain. You will turn right and cross over a creek/ causeway to get to the property. This is typically accessible year round and in most types of vehicles unless there has been a recent heavy rain. You
will need at least one pickup in order to cross Archey Creek to access part of the property. On very rare occasions the creek is not able to be crossed until the water goes down some (usually within hrs.). We do have a Kioti side by side that is available to rent for $100 a day. It seats 6 people. Also, be aware that in the summer,especially in a heat wave, the creek will be down. You won’t be able to kayak.
You may bring your own ATV's and/or horses. Please let owners know in advance if this is the case so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
