A beloved, family-run home on peaceful Squam Lake, this spacious and contemporary lake house sits on a property that has been in the same family for 6 generations. Nestled among the pines with stunning lake views, it offers year-round comfort & classic lakeside charm. Our shared beach/dock are just a short walk across the street, with kayaks, fishing poles, and life jackets available for use. Dock space is available upon request, and NH ski resorts are nearby. A true year-round lake retreat in every season.
Tucked among the pines with stunning lake views, this contemporary lake house features vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, wood floors, and comfortable modern amenities, offering year-round comfort and classic lakeside living. On those rare warm nights, window fans and free-standing A/C units help keep the sleeping areas cool, while chilly evenings are perfect for cozying up by the gas fireplace or enjoying the comfort of central heating.
Just a quick walk across the street, you'll find our Laughing Bear Beach & Dock, a shared lakefront area enjoyed by guests of the Main House and the two cottages on the property. Spend your time swimming, paddling, fishing, or simply soaking up the sun. Please note that the Main House, beach, dock, and cottages are all part of a shared family property, and guests may see other families out and about during their stay. If you are bringing or renting a boat, dock space is available for a small daily fee and is reserved on a first-requested basis. The beach, dock, lake, kayaks, etc are available for your enjoyment, but all water and dock activities are undertaken at your own risk. Please supervise children at all times and use appropriate caution in and around the water.
We believe you shouldn't have to pay for beds you don't need. Although our home sleeps up to 12 guests, our base rate includes 4 guests, making it a more affordable option for smaller families and groups. Additional guest fees will be applied for guests 5-12 and help cover the extra costs that come with hosting more people.

The well-stocked kitchen is equipped for family meals and includes a gas stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig, and drip coffee maker. Some seasonings/oils may be available. Enjoy meals in the four-person eat-in kitchen, around the eight-person dining room table, on the covered porch, or in the peaceful backyard.
Additional amenities include on-site laundry (please be mindful of water usage, as the home is on a well and septic system), an office workspace with Wi-Fi throughout the home, and four Roku-enabled TVs located in the primary bedroom, living room, loft, and basement where you can stream your favorite services.
Shared guest amenities include two kayaks, fishing poles, beach chairs, umbrellas, and life jackets. After a day on the lake, enjoy the private backyard with its fire pit (BYOB firewood), or relax on the large covered balcony overlooking the lake.
Rainy days are perfect for spending time in the unfinished basement game room, featuring ping pong, pool, foosball, poker, puzzles, board games, a TV, and more.
Nestled along scenic Route 113, the location is perfect for summer drives and autumn leaf-peeping. The breathtaking fall foliage reflecting off of Squam Lake, while loons call in the distance, is something to experience. Things to Know
Children must be supervised at all times in the basement. Please return all items and leave the space clean. Additional fees apply if the game room requires resetting or cleaning. Please be mindful of the two restricted areas that are clearly marked.
A gas BBQ grill is available for guest use. Propane levels vary based on use by prior guests. We ask that guests leave the grill reasonably clean for the next family.
