Summary: I don’t usually leave reviews when I’m disappointed, but due to multiple messages from the owner insisting on a five-star rating, I’m choosing to leave an honest one.The unit was clean and generally well-kept. The kitchen was stocked with helpful items, and the bathroom was adequately supplied. However, the listing was misleading.First, the name “Honey Badger House” suggests this is a private home. It’s not. It’s the top floor of an apartment building. Second, the listing claims it sleeps seven. We had four people, each needing a bed. There were only two beds and a very small pullout couch.There were signs, text messages, and VRBO messages from the owner pushing for a five-star review. This was off-putting, especially since communication before check-in was lacking. I had to track down contact info to even receive check-in instructions.Lastly, one of the comforters looked like a dog had slept on it before our arrival. I was OK just taking the comforter off because the overall condition of the unit was very clean and new.Would I stay here again? Probably not. But if you’re fine with an apartment-style unit that has two beds and a couch, it was otherwise a nice place.
