The Space:
The Nord Star features a floor plan that is perfect for a large group. The dome comfortably sleeps 9 adults in 3 rooms with king beds and 1 room with a twin over queen bunk bed. The main level features the kitchen, dining room, sitting area/living room, deck, full bathroom, and two king bedrooms. The kitchen, dining room, and living room all boast views of Lake Superior. The upper floor is a loft with king bed and en suite bathroom. The lower level has a living space and bedroom with a twin over queen bunk bed. Enjoy the lake views from the upper or lower deck.
Guest Access:
Guests are provided with a unique code by the owner prior to the start of the stay. Please note: A 4WD/AWD vehicle is needed to avoid issues with the steep driveway IN THE WINTER. The driveway is only plowed above 3". We will not be held responsible for paying/coordinating/arranging for assistance.
The Neighborhood:
The Nord Star is located just outside of the towns of Schroeder and Tofte. Schroeder Bakery, Bluefin Grille, and Coho Cafe are all within a 15 minute drive from the dome. Small markets, coffee shops, and rental businesses conveniently located nearby.
Getting Around:

Other Things to Note:
The upper deck has a gas fire pit table that seats six people. The lower deck has a wood fire pit with chairs to seat 10 people. The beach is a rocky shoreline.
