Summary: The unique colors in this hotel hallway and rooms are painted well, each colored wall was decorated tastefully. The black out curtain was great. The room and bathroom both very clean. Beds and sheets are comfortable. A/C unit worked very good. Hot breakfast is good despite the waffles tasting off, no fruit and no juice or water.
Took a long time for someone to come to check us in, no friendly greeting or apology for keeping us waiting.
The room door lets in way too much hallway light. We bought blue painters tape to block the light.
Toilet made a lot of noise. We turned off the water to the toilet over night.

Summary: We made 3 phone calls at the office to get our room pass and waited 20 minutes for someone to come. About 8:00 in the evening we made repeated attempts to get help with the TV in the room which was set to HDMI and not TV and we were unable to successfully change the setting. After 2 calls of being told she was getting somebody to help, the phone stopped being answered.
The breakfast was decent. No tea, only coffee and hot water.
We have stayed here a few times previously but will not do so again.

Summary: I was impressed both by the cleanliness and the personality of this motel. It's not your normal cooky cutter hotel that all look alike on the inside. It has a throwback charm to it that is very unique. It could use a bit of paint touch up in a couple of corners and there were a few very minor chips in the furniture that just added to the charm.
The breakfast was no feast, but nice, with waffles, eggs, sausage, variety of coffees, several different cereals, and a few breads.
Just a warning, this is a love it or hate it type of place, because it isn't a huge chain cooky cutter place, but I loved it and will be back again.

Summary: Be prepared for WILDLY BRIGHT retro colors on the walls. The colors were not very relaxing really, but I know the wall colors did not dictate whether or not I was comfortable or could sleep. Bed was comfortable enough, but there was so much hallway light coming in from all around the door. It was a little unnerving to think the door wasn't very tight (or maybe even secure), and it was hard to fall asleep because there was so much light coming in. I did sleep, but was kind of glad to leave the next morning. The guy at the front desk seemed nice, and I'm grateful for the place to rest that night, but I probably won't be back.
